GANDHINAGAR — The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) recorded its strongest quarterly transaction volume to date, with cumulative banking assets crossing the $85 billion threshold inside GIFT City’s special economic precinct.

A confluence of fiscal clarity, competitive single-window regulatory regimes, and streamlined currency hedging facilities has attracted premier institutional asset managers from Singapore, Dubai, London, and Tokyo. Over forty international fund houses established physical presence or enhanced licensing tiers during the previous six months alone.

Financial analysts point to the newly relaxed cross-border derivative clearing mechanisms as a pivotal catalyst. Multinational corporations can now execute rupee-denominated trade settlement mechanisms with negligible friction, diminishing reliance on third-party offshore offshore centres.

"What we are witnessing is the organic maturation of a world-class financial jurisdiction on Indian soil," said lead market strategist Vikram Mehta. "GIFT City has evolved from a promising blueprint into an indispensable node in the international trade settlement matrix."

The ripple effects are felt across the state's broader professional services economy. High-end legal practices, forensic accounting institutions, and specialized financial engineering consultancies are reporting unprecedented talent acquisition campaigns across Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Mumbai to staff their expanding GIFT operations.
